Placement of Rooms

Placing rooms is one of those things you do, hardly think about, and take for granted that they are there.  It is one of the first things that you do in a project (presumably).  What happens though when you need a room.  If you don't have a system, you could be wasting time…

Design changes are an enviable thing and happen constantly.  If you work on placing all your rooms so that the center of the room object (where the two legs of the X intersect themselves) at or near the center of your room,  you will always have a starting point at which to start searching for your room should you need to move it or adjust it.

This little tip can save you a little bit of time and frustration, plus it standardizes one more thing.  Implement this procedure across everyone who works on your model and you can increase your teams efficiency because everyone will know exactly where to go to accomplish something.
