Need to show a limits of construction line on your drawings? Need to show it on multiple plans, sheets and views? Here is a little tip to help automate this process.
Rarely is anything in our profession static very long, so chances are that your limits line will change, adjust, add areas, subtract areas, etc. If you have multiple plans this lines shows up on, it could be very time consuming to go to every plan and adjust the line (or copy paste, or however you would do it)
Instead, make a group! Draw the lines on one floor, add any text or annotations necessary to call it out and talk about what it is, and then create a drafting group out of it. This drafting group can then be copy/paste aligned on each view that it is necessary. If (when) you need to change the line, simply edit the group, make your change, select "OK" (via the big green checkmark) and then your group will update, thus updating the line at every instance!
Just another way Revit can automate the process and save you valuable time doing mundane tasks.
