Propegate Extents

You probably only encounter this issue at the beginning of a project when you are setting up your views and your sheets.  Ever run into the situation where you are configuring a sheet, moving the grids so everything fits then realize that you now have to do this for every other floor plan in the project?  If you said no then you are a liar.

After you have one view where everything is set, use the Propagate Extents command to tell Revit all the other views that you want to match to the one you just adjusted.  Save yourself time and do it only once!  Check it out!  The propegate extents button can be found on the ribbon under the Modify Tab (green section)when a grid is selected.  Be sure to select all your grids before hitting this button though!

This wonderful tool can fall into the category of something you will only use once or twice a project.
